About
Notary work is about trust. We take that seriously.

Founder
Hi — I’m Katie Ackley.
I started Meridian Notaries after years working in a Nashville nursing home, where I watched families navigate some of the hardest moments of their lives — and scramble to find a notary who could get to their loved one before a deadline passed or a condition changed. I saw firsthand what it costs when that notary doesn't show up, doesn't know what they're doing, or makes a stressed family feel like an inconvenience. That's not the job. This is.
I first became a notary in 2020 and I’m commissioned in Tennessee, bonded and insured, and certified by the National Notary Association as a loan signing agent with a current background check on file. I work with title companies, lenders, and individuals across Davidson, Williamson, Wilson, Sumner, Rutherford, Cheatham, and Robertson counties.
My commitment to every client is simple: show up prepared, be clear about what I can and can’t do as a notary, and treat your documents with the care they deserve.
