FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
The things people ask most before they book. Don’t see yours? Call (615) 549–6729 or send us the details.
- Do you come to me?
- Yes. We're a mobile notary service, so we come to your home, office, hospital, care facility, or closing table anywhere in the Nashville metro. You don't travel to us.
- What areas do you serve?
- We serve the Nashville metro and surrounding counties: Davidson, Williamson, Wilson, Sumner, Rutherford, Cheatham, and Robertson. Outside these counties? Ask — we travel for the right appointment.
- What are your hours?
- We're available from 8am to 8pm Central, seven days a week. For time-sensitive signings, call first at (615) 549-6729.
- How quickly will you respond?
- We confirm within two business hours during normal hours, and always within 24 hours. Same-day appointments are usually available if you reach out before noon.
- What do I need to bring to a notarization?
- Every signer needs a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID, and everyone signing must be present at the appointment. Bring the complete document but leave it unsigned — signatures must be made in front of the notary.
- What documents can you notarize?
- Loan and real estate closing packages, powers of attorney, affidavits, medical directives, parental and travel consents, acknowledgments, and documents bound for apostille and international use, among others. If you're not sure, just ask.
- Do you offer remote online notarization (RON)?
- Yes, for eligible documents. Remote online notarization is a secure audio-video session that meets Tennessee requirements — convenient when an in-person visit isn't practical. Ask whether your document and situation qualify.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- Yes. We're commissioned in Tennessee, carry a $10,000 surety bond and errors-and-omissions insurance, and are certified by the National Notary Association as a loan signing agent with a current background check on file.
- How much does a mobile notary cost?
- Your total is built from a few clear parts. There's a fee per notarial act, so a document with two signers costs more than one with a single signer. On top of that is a travel fee based on where we're coming to — which is why we quote by address rather than posting a flat rate. Signings that are after hours, on short notice, or that involve a large loan package may carry an additional fee, and courier work is quoted separately. Whatever the total, you'll have it in writing before you book — no surprises at the table.
- How do I get a quote?
- Send us your location, what needs to be notarized, how many signers there are, and when you need it — by form or at (615) 549-6729. We'll come back with the full cost, and we'll tell you up front if anything about your document falls outside what a notary can do.
- Can a notary give legal advice?
- No. Notaries are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice or draft legal documents. We can notarize your signature and administer oaths, and we'll always be clear about what we can and can't do.
